| KS211 | Means of Egress - General CFR(s): NFPA 101 Means of Escape - General 2012 EXISTING Designated means of escape shall be continuously maintained clear of obstructions and impediments to full instant use in the case of fire or emergency. 33.2.2 This STANDARD is not met as evidenced by: Based on observation, the facility failed to maintain the means of escape per the requirements of: 2012 NFPA 101, 33.2.2 This deficiency affects 1 of 5 exits. Findings include: During a tour of the facility, the surveyor observed a platform wheelchair scale with ramps in the means of escape of the Tornado-Safe Corridor. A member of the maintenance staff was present when this deficiency was identified. |
