This STANDARD is not met as evidenced by:
Based on interview with the facility's office manager and document review of the emergency preparedness plan the facility's plan does not have any policies or procedures which address a system to track the location of on duty staff and sheltered patients, as required. Without any policies and procedures to track the location of on duty staff and sheltered patients there is no guidance for the facility to implement should relocation become necessary. This could result in important medical information, medication or equipment required by patients not being forwarded to locations where patients have been sent. This could affect all of the facility's patients and staff.

Findings:

On February 1, 2019, between approximately 1PM and 330PM, during the review of the facility's Emergency preparedness program no policies or procedures were observed in the facility's plan which addresses a system to track the location of on duty staff and sheltered patients. The office manager confirmed that there were no such policies and procedures.
